Mental health is a broad term which impacts everybody in different ways and doing everything possible to maintain good mental wellbeing is essential for ourselves, our friends, family and colleagues.
This training course explains the meaning of mental health and mental ill health, identifies different types of mental health condition and considers internal workplace factors and external life experiences which can influence mental health.
This training course identifies indicators which may suggest a person is experiencing poor mental health or mental ill health from a physical, behavioural and psychological perspective.
This training course will consider the importance of promoting positive mental health workplace environments and the value of positive relationships between colleagues including active listening.
This training course describes the meaning of Wellness Action Planning, recognising your own limitations in providing support and where to signpost people for additional support.
