Mental health is a broad term which impacts everybody in different ways and doing everything possible to maintain good mental wellbeing is essential for ourselves, our friends, family and colleagues.

This training course explains the meaning of mental health from a broad range of perspectives, identifies different types of mental health condition and considers ‘ingredients’ which help in promoting positive mental health and building resilience. 

This training course explains the different ways in which mental health challenges and trauma can impact on people from an emotional, psychological, physical and behavioral perspective and identifies indicators and reactions that could suggest that a person may be experiencing challenges with their mental health.

This training course recognise the impact stress, anxiety, low mood and depression can have on a person and indicators which suggest a person may be affected.

This training course explains different factors which can influence mental health and resilience including; home, work, relationships, health and world issues.

This training course considers ways of providing support and signposting to people who are vulnerable to and/or experiencing mental health conditions and explains ways of promoting mental health self-support strategies. This is a Level 3 accredited course.
