Life Story Work with Children and Young People Training Course (Level 3)

This training course identifies what life story work is and why this is essential for children, young people and teenagers who are in looked after care and support. This training course considers the impact of life story work on both young people and supporters, considers practical ways to approach difficult stories and identifies information which contributes to life story work and how to structure life story books.

Child Development Theories and Practices Training Course (Level 3)

This training course is designed for professionals who work with children and young people and need to know about the stages of child development and the intellectual, physiological, physical and emotional child development transitions. This is a Level 3 accredited course.

Attachment, Loss and Resilience Training Course (Level 3)

This training course is designed for people who work with vulnerable children and young people who have challenges in forming positive attachments and need to learn more about the theories of attachment (Bowlby's theory), the relationships between attachment, separation and loss, the impact which early influences have on emotions, feelings and relationships and ways of supporting young people to built trust, resilience and maintain positive relationships. This is a Level 3 accredited course.

Accredited training course is designed for professionals who are working with vulnerable children and young people who present challenging behaviour and who need to learn more about the types of behaviours, our own reactions and professional limitations, the influences of behaviour, legal boundaries and ways of promoting positive experiences and constructing positive behaviour management plans. This is a Level 3 accredited course.

Accredited training course is designed for professionals who work with children and young people who present sexualised behaviours and considers the meaning of sexualised behaviour, possible causes and influences of behaviour, types of sexualised behaviours, attachment related challenges and ways of providing support and signposting. This is a Level 3 accredited course.

This training course focuses on the specific support needs of children and young people who have been sexually abused or witnessed sexual abuse. This training course confirms what is meant by child sexual abuse, behaviours which constitute child sexual abuse, the impact which this can have on children and young people emotionally and behaviourally and ways of providing specific support and safeguards.
